True Blood was my Fall 2008 addiction! Now that the 1st season is over, I am quenching my thirst for more by reading the novels that True Blood is based on. Charlaine Harris created 8 books, and is the process of renegotiation of her contract to write more. I highly recommend the tv show and novels.
